What we collect and why

Necessary browser storage records your privacy choice so the site can respect it. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process:

pseudonymous browser and device identifiers, including the Google Analytics client identifier;
page views, chapter views, scroll and outbound-link activity, and interactions with the trailer, wishlist buttons, and social links;
browser, device, operating system, language, screen, referrer, and campaign information; and
approximate geographic information derived from the connection's IP address. Google states that IP addresses from EU users are not logged or stored by Google Analytics.

We use this information to understand site performance, improve the content and user experience, and measure which parts of the website lead visitors to the Steam wishlist. Legal basis and your choice

Optional analytics and embedded media are based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the applicable rules for storing or accessing information on your device. How long we keep information

Privacy choices and the on-device consent audit are kept in this browser for up to 180 days, unless you clear browser storage first.
First-touch campaign attribution is kept in this browser for up to 90 days, and only after analytics consent.
Chapter-view deduplication is kept only for the current browser session, and only after analytics consent.
Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> may last up to two years unless your browser removes them sooner.
Google Analytics user- and event-level data may be retained for up to 14 months, depending on the property configuration. Aggregated reporting that no longer identifies an individual user may remain available for longer.

Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, and you may object where processing is based on a legitimate interest.
